How Iryst Tech collects, uses and protects personal information submitted through this website.

Last updated: 23 August 2026

Who we are

Iryst Tech ("Iryst", "we", "us") is a technology services company. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

For any question about this policy, or to exercise the rights described below, contact us at hello@iryst.com.

What we collect

Information you give us: when you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, indicated service, budget range and the message you write.

Information collected automatically: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) and, where analytics is enabled, aggregated usage data about how the site is used.

We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for payment details through this website.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement. This is our legitimate interest in responding to a business contact you initiated.

To operate, secure and improve the website, including diagnosing faults and preventing abuse.

To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations where they apply.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without your consent.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted.

Records relating to an active or completed engagement are kept for as long as the contract requires and for the retention period set by applicable tax and accounting law.

Server logs are retained for a short operational period and then rotated out.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us run the business — hosting, email delivery and, where used, CRM and analytics platforms. They process data on our instructions and under contract.

Professional advisers and authorities where we are legally required to disclose.

Where a provider is located outside your country, transfers are made under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies by default. If analytics or embedded third-party content is added later, this section and a consent mechanism will be updated before it goes live.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format.

To make a request, email hello@iryst.com. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices for systems that hold client and enquiry data. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify you and the relevant authority where a breach requires it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The revision date below always reflects the current version.

This policy is a starting template and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have counsel check it against your obligations under the UK GDPR, EU GDPR and India's DPDP Act before launch, and add your registered company details.
